Freedom

Okay, when is the last time I felt really free? As I grow older, the feeling of being constricted feels stronger. This city is suffocating. How I long to spread my wings and fly out to the countrysides or anywhere out there, well, perhaps it is because what we do not have, which makes us yearn for it. Perhaps countryside may not be as good as what I fantasize, but I hope I will get a chance to find out in the later years. For now, it is all about city life, and I know I should feel fortunate, for god knows how many people who lived in the country yearns to live in the city and vice versa, a vicious cycle. Well, life is a cycle, that is what I think. People just long for what they do not have. =( Feeling a bit nostalgic nowadays, especially when I drag my memories out. Sighs, those days can never be duplicated; each has its own unique qualities, and that is what makes it all the more priceless.

A bird who has lost its freedom is just sad. The atrocities are heartwrenching.
